Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery has expressed his desire to extend his stay with the Bundesliga champions beyond the summer of 2017.
The 32-year-old veteran, who spent the last nine seasons at the Allianz Arena, will be out of contract at the end of the next season.
The Frenchman has revealed that he turned down a lucrative offer to move to China as the player is not interested in money and wants to extend his stay in Germany.

“I have already talked a little with [Bayern] about a new contract,” the midfielder told Bild.
“I still want to stay here one, two more years longer. I am happy, truly happy, to live in Munich. It’s great for my wife and children. If I want a lot more money, I would have to go to China. I had an offer. I’m not interested.”
Ribery joined the Bavarians from Marseille in 2007 has only scored once for the Germans this season due to couple of injury problems.
