Sevilla defender Daniel Carrico has signed a new long-term deal with the Spanish club, that will keep him at the Estadio Ramon until 2018.
The Portuguese centre-back, who joined the club on loan from Reading in the summer of 2013 and helped the club to finish fifth in La Liga and acquired their third Europa League trophy in Spain.
The deal was made permanent this summer following his impressive form and the 26-year-old has now been rewarded with a new long-term contract at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan until June 2018.

Carrico has scored three goals in 35 appearances so far in all competitions since he joined the club in 2013.
