Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is plotting a summer move to sign Real Madrid ace Sami Khedira, according to reports from the Express.
It is understood that Khedira, 26, is desperate to move away from the Bernabeu, and Chelsea seems to be the perfect place for a midfielder this summer.
The German international moved to Real Madrid in 2010 from VfB Stuttgart and has managed to play only 15 appearances this season in all competitions and is likely to miss the 2014 Brazil World Cup.
Mourinho is keen to bolster his midfield department this summer and Khedira would be the ideal option for Chelsea’s midfield because of his flawless aerial ability, who can cover a lot of ground.
