Chelsea are reportedly planning to offer playmaker Eden Hazard a bumper contract extension in order to stop him from moving to PSG this summer, report the Daily Mail.
It emerged last week that the 23-year-old midfielder has been targeted by the Ligue-1 champions PSG, with rumours of a £61 million bid for the Belgian international to bring him to the French capital followed by the World Cup this month.
However, Chelsea have given Hazard his favoured number 10 shirt at the club next season and reports now suggest that the Blues are said to be planning a lucrative contract extension and a huge wage rise for the former Lille star in order to keep him from Paris St Germain’s clutches.
Despite this, PSG manager Laurent Blanc is a huge fan of Hazard, who admitted about his willingness to bring the Chelsea man to Parc des Princes this summer.
The report claims that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will likely to offer Hazard a €15m yearly the same amount that the Parisians were reportedly going to offer him as an initial deal to move to Paris.
