Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard has reportedly expressed his interest to signing a new five-year contract with the Blues worth £200,000-a-week.
The Belgian international has been one of the club’s vital players since joining the west London club from Lille in 2012, but he has been in speculation to be linked with a move to Spanish club Real Madrid and the French champions Paris Saint-Germain over the last couple of years.
However – According to The Telegraph, the 23-year-old appears to be ready to put pen to paper by agreeing to extend his stay at the Stamford Bridge for the next five years.
The whooping £200,000-a-week deal would make Hazard the highest paid player at the club.
Hazard has scored 39 goals in 132 appearances in all competition for the Blues – helping the club to remain at top of the league table with 39 points.
