Chelsea are reportedly keeping an eye on Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Robert Sanchez with a view to making a move in the summer.
Football Insider reports that the Blues are monitoring the progress of Sanchez with the intention of signing the stopper during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are also reportedly keeping an eye on the Brighton ace, who has recently fallen out of favour with manager Roberto De Zerbi.
Despite his recent dip in form and playing time, the 25-year-old remains highly-regarded within the Premier League. His impressive performances for the Seagulls over the last two years have caught the attention of several top English clubs, with many singling out his displays under former manager Graham Potter as particularly noteworthy.
Brighton still have plenty to play for this season, including a potential European spot and an upcoming FA Cup semi-final against Manchester United. As such, there is hope that Sanchez will be able to regain his place in the team and help them achieve their goals.
In addition to Man United and Spurs, Chelsea are reportedly interested in the Brighton star and may seek to sign him during the summer transfer window.
If Brighton qualifies for European competition and Chelsea does not, it could complicate matters for Sanchez and potentially benefit Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in their pursuit of the Spaniard.
