Chelsea in talks to sign Neymar?

Chelsea have reportedly engaged in talks regarding a potential transfer of Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar.

Although the Brazilian ace is under contract with PSG until June 2025 and has the option to extend it for an additional year, there are doubts about his future at the French capital. This comes after a recent report indicated that he may depart alongside Lionel Messi in the summer.

Le Parisien reports that the Blues are currently in talks with the Parisians about acquiring the services of the 31-year-old striker.

During the past two transfer windows, the Premier League giants have spent more than £600m, and just last month, they broke the British transfer record by paying £107m to acquire Enzo Fernandez from Benfica.

To secure Neymar’s signature this summer, Chelsea may need to pay a significant fee. Although the Brazilian has been productive for PSG, scoring 117 goals and providing 76 assists in 172 appearances.

Following PSG’s 3-1 loss to Monaco last Saturday, Neymar revealed that he was involved in a dispute with PSG director Luis Campos and his teammate Marquinhos.

Neymar has played in 28 games for PSG this season, scoring 17 goals and providing 16 assists.
