Liverpool are plotting a £25m summer move for Benfica forward Rodrigo in order to bolster their attacking options, reported in The Mirror.
The Spain U-23 international has been in excellent form this season, scored 10 goals in all competitions for Benfica.
This have alerted Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers, who is expected to move for more attacking reinforcements in this summer transfer window.
Russian club Zenit Saint-Petersburg also interested in Rodrigo. However, the Reds are hopeful to bring the 23-year-old striker to Anfield in the summer.
The versatile forward is believed to be valued at around £25m by Benfica, who is currently under contract until 2019. It is clear, that money won’t be an issue for the Reds, who are almost one step ahead to qualify for the Champions League next season.
