Barcelona will reportedly make an offer for Chelsea star Eden Hazard if Luis Suarez refused to join the La Liga giants, reported the Daily Mirror.
The Liverpool star Luis Suarez has been strongly linked with a move to Spanish club to either Barcelona or Real Madrid in recent days, with rumours having emerged that the Uruguayan told his close friends that he wants to leave the Anfield this summer.
However, Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has made it clear that he has no intention of selling his star player this summer as they are preparing for the Champions League next season, this has alerted Barcelona and the report suggested they are now exploring alternative options with the likes of Marco Reus and Eden Hazard.
The Belgium international has enjoyed an excellent campaign at Stamford Bridge last season, scored 14 times in 35 appearances, following with his stellar performance throughout the season he helped the club finish third in the Premier League.
It’s understood Barca new manager Luis Enrique is keen to rebuild his first-team at the Nou Camp and the report claims that he will make a world record bid for the 23-year-old midfielder.
The French champions Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with Hazard’s signature in recent weeks but the Catalans looks more attractive option for the Chelsea star.
However, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is unlikely to accept any bid from Barcelona for Hazard as he looks to bolster his squad for next season.
