Barcelona are set to make a £20 million offer for Brazil international attacker Willian as he edges closer to the Chelsea exit door, according to Sky Sports News.
Willian’s contract is due to expire at the end of the season, though, and there have been no discussions of any contract extension.
The La Liga champions are believed to be in the market for a new forward this month in order to replace Luis Suarez, who is on the sidelines with a knee injury.
The Catalan giants are thought to have failed with a move for Everton’s Richarlison, and the aforementioned report suggests, Barca are now preparing a last-minute £20m offer for Chelsea attacker Willian.
He has made 30 appearances for the Blues during the 2019-20 campaign, contributing five goals and five assists.
Willian, 31, was also linked with a move to Barcelona last summer but was prevented from leaving the Stamford Bridge due to the club’s transfer ban, which has since been lifted.
