Aston Villa have reportedly expressed an interest in making a loan move for Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho in the January transfer window.
While Villa boss Dean Smith is unlikely to spend in the mid-season transfer window after forking out a lot during the summer, he is thought to want to add quality and depth to his attack for the rest of the season.
The Midlands club currently only have Jonathan Kodjia and Keinan Davis as a backup to the main striker Wesley Moraes as things stand.
The Birmingham Mail claims that Villa are weighing up a January move for Iheanacho, who scored a late winner for the Foxes on Sunday in his first Premier League appearance of the season.
The Nigeria international has scored 13 times in 66 appearances for the East Midlands since joining them from Man City in 2017.
