Arsenal have made Como’s Nico Paz a name to watch for next year’s transfer market, with manager Mikel Arteta reportedly keen for the club to push forward with a move, according to Fichajes.

The 22-year-old has emerged as one of the Gunners’ priority targets as they look to add further quality to their attacking ranks. Arsenal’s recruitment staff have kept tabs on the Argentine since missing out on both him and Morgan Rogers during the summer window.

Part of Paz’s appeal lies in his versatility. Although he’s most effective through the middle as a No. 10, he’s equally comfortable drifting wide, offering Arteta a player who can slot into several attacking roles depending on the system.

The playmaker joined Como permanently in 2025 following Real Madrid’s decision not to bring him back into their first-team plans. Madrid sold their remaining stake in the player to the Serie A club but inserted a buy-back option into the deal — a clause that could complicate any Arsenal pursuit down the line.
