Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin has signed a new long-term contract at the Emirates.
The 21-year-old has become an integral part of the Gunners’ since developing in the 2014-15 season, but there were rumours over his future at the north London club.
The Spain international had been linked to Premier League rivals Manchester City, while the La Liga champions Barcelona were rumoured to be keen to secure Bellerin’s signature.
However, the defender has opted to commit his future to the Gunners by signing a new six-and-a-half years deal.
Bellerin stated that he was “very happy” to agree fresh new terms, and described the Gunners as his “home”.
