Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a move for the Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley, who is currently serving his loan spell at Aston Villa, according to the Sky Sports.
The 25-year-old, who has made 26 league appearances for Villans this season, has had loan spells at Leicester, Watford and Wigan during his six years of career, but has struggled to establish himself in the Premier League.
The Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is looking for a tenacious midfielder and Cleverley could be one of them, who is available on a free transfer this summer and could be more viable and easier option for next season.
Cleverley hasn’t scored a goal or provided an assist in his last 36 Premier League appearances.
