Arsenal have not given up hope of signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Brandt and could consider a summer swoop for the Germany international, according to German outlet Bild.
For the past few years, there have been constant rumours linking Brandt to the Gunners, but the 26-year-old has remained loyal to Dortmund since his move from Bayer Leverkusen in 2019.
However, the German international is set to become a free agent at the end of the next season. This situation could put pressure on Dortmund to sell him this summer before he walks away for nothing in 2024.
Given his impressive performance this season, the playmaker is likely to have several suitors vying for his signature.
Brandt has scored nine goals and provided five assists in 31 appearances across all competitions this season.
Arsenal are closely monitoring Brandt’s situation and could make a move for him this summer if he decides not to renew his contract at Westfalenstadion.
The midfielder has won one DFB-Pokal title and one German Super Cup during his tenure at Dortmund.
