Arsenal have reportedly joined the clutch of clubs hoping to sign the Shakhtar Donetsk star Mykhaylo Mudryk, according to the Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Gunners are among the many clubs interested in signing the 21-year-old midfielder. It has also been understood that the Ukrainian outfit have turned down a €30m verbal proposal from Everton. Therefore, Mikel Arteta’s side would have to pay in excess of that figure to get a deal done.
Romano has added that the North Londoners are exploring a potential deal for the youngster, but the Premier League outfit are yet to open formal talks with Shakhtar.
Arsenal have made five additions to their squad and the club currently sits atop the league table with a perfect record.
The Ukraine international has impressed with his crossing and shooting ability. He is far from being a finished product. While there is still work that needs to be done, the Shakhtar academy product is said to be a quick learner and he would no doubt develop hugely at a club like Arsenal.
