The Spanish club Barcelona are reportedly pondering a summer move for Liverpool defender Daniel Agger, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
The Denmark international has been a key player at Anfield since he joined the Reds from the Danish club Brondby in 2006. He has made 232 appearances for the Merseyside club over the past nine years.
However the highly-rated centre back’s future remains uncertain, who is now likely to leave the club this summer after the arrival of Dejan Lovren to Anfield.
The report also claims, the 29-year-old defender has been linked many times with the Catalan giants as they are looking for experienced additions in defence.
But the Blaugrana could face a stiff competition for Agger’s signature from his former club Brondby – who are also thought to be interested in his services.
