Twitter reacts to Takuma Asano’s link with Arsenal

Arsenal have reportedly made an offer to sign Japanese striker Takuma Asano from Sanfrecce Hiroshima.

The youngster has scored only one goal in four appearances for his national side, and Gunners are keen to lure him at the Emirates, as reported by Sanyo News.

The north Londoners are clearly on the lookout for a striker ahead of next season, as they failed the pursuit of Leicester City superstar Jamie Vardy.

However, it has been claimed that Arsene Wenger’s side will immediately loan Asano out should they successfully signed the prospect.

It remains to be seen whether the 21-year-old will indeed link up with the Premier League outfit.

Arsenal already have plenty of exciting forwards on their ranks, including Stephy Mavididi, Donyell Malen and Edward Nketiah, and signing the Japanese international might push those prospects further down the pecking order.

Here’s how Twitter reacts to reports that Arsenal will make a move to sign Asano.
