Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eric Dier has committed his long-term future by signing a new five-year contract at White Hart Lane.
The England international has become an integral part of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad since he joined the north Londoners from Sporting Lisbon in 2014
Dier, 22, specifically impressed during club’s Premier League title challenge last season as he earned a place in the England national team for Euro 2016.

The Cheltenham-born player has scored six goals in 90 appearances since making his debut against West Ham United on the opening day of the 2014-15 season.

Dier is the second player within a week to extend his contract to Tottenham following Christian Eriksen’s new four-year deal.
