Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly lining up a £20m bid for Bayern Munich midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri, reports The Metro.
The 23-year-old, who joined the German champions from Basel in 2012, but has struggled to make an impact since his move to the Allianz Arena.
The Swiss international has been widely tipped as one of the most aggressive attackers in European football, who has scored twice in 13 games for the Bavarians this season.
However, a number of heavy-weights clubs such as Arsenal, Liverpool and Juventus are said to be interested in his signature, but according to the recent reports – Spurs are going to make a £20m bid when the transfer window re-opens in January.
£20 million for Shaqiri seems an attractive deal, who has made just three of the club’s 11 Bundesliga starts this season.
