The 22-year-old is also being scouted by the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, but the report claim that the Red Devils are said to be keenest on the former Spanish Under-21 international and have keeping tabs on his performances since the attacker joined the Magpies from Tenerife last year.

Having scored 10 Premier League goals for the Magpies this season so far including the winning goals in club’s 1-0 success over AFC Bournemouth at the weekend, the player established himself as one of the greatest players in St. James Park.
Meanwhile, the La Liga giants Real Madrid are also believed to be interested in Perez’s signature. But, the 10-time English champions Manchester United are all set to prepare an official bid for the forward when the transfer window reopens.
Perez would be a much needed option for van Gaal in a 4-2-3-1 formation, being a versatile forward, he can play either out wide or through the middle.
