The La Liga leaders Real Madrid have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Norwegian ‘wonderkid’ Martin Odegaard from Stromsgodset, reports Sky Sports.
The 16-year-old teenager, who has been scouted by the multiple European clubs including Liverpool, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Barcelona in recent weeks, has finally closing in on a move to the reigning Champions League winners.
The report has suggested that the attacking midfielder, who flew to Madrid last night for an advanced talks – could make a move to the Santiago Bernabeu in the next couple of days.
He holds the record for the youngest player ever to represent his country in a Euro Championship qualifier.
Odegaard is considered as one of the hottest young properties in European football at the moment, who has scored three goals in 16 appearances for Stromsgodset this season.
