Pepe Reina, who is currently plays for Napoli on loan from liverpool has stated that it would be “great” to return to La Liga giants Barcelona in next season.
The Spain international is currently serving a loan at Serie A giants Napoli from Liverpool. Reports said that, Reina has been consistently linked with a switch to Barcelona.
Reina, 31, told Cataluyna Radio: “It would be great to return to Barcelona. I am very happy that my name’s being mentioned.
“Nothing has been signed, though. I assume that they have been talking with a lot of goalkeepers and have shortlisted a number of them. We will see what happens next year.”
Reina is under contract with Liverpool until 2016, While Napoli declared earlier this week that they have no plans to make him permanent at this stage.
