Newcastle United have confirmed that they have completed the signing of German goalkeeper Loris Karius.
The 29-year-old, who has been without a club since his release from Liverpool in the summer, has joined the Magpies on a short-term deal until January or the end of the season.
The shot-stopper has made 49 appearances for the Reds across two seasons.
Karius has not represented the Merseyside outfit in a competitive match since the 2018 Champions League final against Real Madrid, instead spending loan spells at Besiktas and Union Berlin respectively.
