The Portuguese midfielder Nani has confirmed that he will make a come back to Manchester United this summer after spending a season-long loan with Sporting Lisbon.
The 28-year-old was considered as one of the most talented players at Old Trafford, but due to his poor performance, he was sent on a season-long loan to his former club Sporting.
However the South American has now confirmed to O Jogo that he will make a return to Red Devils over the summer, He said: “I am a Manchester United player and I will return. I can never say it’s impossible.”
“I believe I am now more confident to compete for a place in whatever team is. I am able to play in a more competitive league. But nothing is concrete yet.”
But United fans have to see whether or not Louis van Gaal decides to bring Nani back into the squad or move him on, as the club have been using Ashley Young and Juan Mata in the wider positions.
