Everton manager Roberto Martinez has confirmed that he will look into the January transfer for the replacement of injured Arouna Kone and Darron Gibson, according to The Independent.
Everton striker Arouna Kone and midfielder Darron Gibson both are sidelined for a long-term with knee injuries. Therefore, The Toffees boss has indicated that he will dip into the transfer market to bolster his squad.
The Spaniard said,
“We are going to use the window in January to try to help the team because we lost two players for the long term,”
“Arouna and Darron are two very important players for us so we will try to see if we can identify one or two players that can help the group.”
Do you think will Martinez find the potential signings for his side?
Well, according to English newspapers: The Daily Express and The Daily Mail, Everton are keen to secure the services of former Celtic Winger Aiden McGeady and the young American starlet Camden Buescher.
I hope Martinez will get what he wants when January transfer window opens.
