Manchester United are reportedly planning a summer bid to sign Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, according to ESPN.
The Spaniard forward has been in rumours to be linked with a move away from the Bernabeu at the end of the season. United boss David Moyes has been alerted by this speculation and reportedly keeping an eye on the striker.
The 21-year-old has established himself as one of La Liga‘s most promising youngster at Los Blancos. Morata’s current contract is valid until 2015 – but due to a lack of first-team opportunities and managed to score just three goals this season, Morata might leave the club once the season ends.
It is anticipated that the Red Devils are considering of selling Mexican striker Javier Hernandez and look to replace him with Morata in the summer transfer window.
Top Premier League sides including Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham are also interested to be linked with Morata, who is valued to be around £20m.
