Liverpool are weighing up a summer move for Manchester United flop striker Radamel Falcao, despite his poor performance at Old Trafford.
The Colombian international, who joined the Red Devils on loan from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco last year, but has struggled to make an impact at Premier League, scoring just four goals so far this season.
However, The Sun claims that Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is desperate to bring a world-class striker at Anfield and he holds an interest in the 29-year-old, after he failed to impress this season.
United have the option to secure the signature of Falcao permanently at the end of the season, but that looks impossible, while the Spanish club Real Madrid and Premier League leaders Chelsea have also been linked with the striker.
According to the Metro, The Merseysiders would have to pay £265,000-a-week wages to Falcao in order to do business with him.
