Liverpool have reportedly joined the list of clubs wanting to sign Shakhtar Donetsk attacker Mykhaylo Mudryk.
The 21-year-old has been in scintillating form for the Ukrainian outfit during the 2022-23 campaign, contributing two goals and three assists in five appearances.
The youngster has two goals and two assists in two Champions League games this season, and a number of clubs are said to be monitoring the situation ahead of a possible bid during the mid-season transfer window.
Brentford were linked with the Ukraine international over the summer, while there is also interest from Arsenal, which led to journalist Fabrizio Romano claiming that Shakhtar would not be willing to listen to offers of under €50m.
According to Calciomercato, the Reds are now firmly in the race for the winger, who could have options of a number of clubs in England’s top flight.
Mudryk has made 31 appearances for Shakhtar Donetsk, contributing four goals and 12 assists in the process, and he still has four years remaining on his contract.
