The Gunners have been keeping a tab on the midfielder since his arrival at the King Power Stadium but did not pursue a deal.
The Premier League leaders are managed to keep hold the midfielder in the winter transfer window but the several reports are suggesting that the North Londoners will make a £20m bid in the summer to complete a deal.
However, Leicester will be able to resist such offer with Champions League football on the horizon and they are now preparing to tie Kante by offering him a lucrative new deal.
