Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger could make a surprise move for former Chelsea midfielder Lassana Diarra as he looks to bolster his attacking options in January, according to The Express.
The 29-year-old Frenchman is now a free agent after being released by Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow over the summer.
With the report has suggested that Wenger is keen on bringing back the midfielder to the Emirates in order to bolster his attacking options following his side’s 2-0 defeat against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
Diarra is also capable of playing at right-back, who spent his 2007-08 season with the Gunners, making just seven appearances for the north London club.
