The Spanish club Sevilla are reportedly monitoring the situation of Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata ahead of the January transfer window, reports the Daily Mirror.
The Spaniard has scored 10 goals in 26 appearances since he joined the Red Devils from Chelsea last January, but the 26-year-old hasn’t been regular under the newly appointed manager Louis van Gaal this season.
The report has suggested that the Catalan club could make an approach United over a possible move next month, but the Old Trafford club are more likely to listen to offers at the end of the season.
There are possibilities that the English club could sell Mata in order to free up funds for the signature of Kevin Strootman in January.
