Arsenal officials have reportedly decided to hand Arsene Wenger a £20m budget in order to bolster the squad with a couple of key signings in January transfer window, reports The Telegraph.
The Gunners spent near about £60 million throughout the summer as they signed the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Danny Welbeck, Mathieu Debuchy, David Ospina and Calum Chambers, but Wenger will receive a budget of £20 million to enter the transfer market once again in January – hoping to secure one or two more players to his squad.
Recent reports have claimed that Wenger is planning a January move for Benfica forward Anderson Talisca. Meanwhile – Real Madrid’s Sami Khedira and Aston Villa’s Ron Vlaar are also under Arsenal radar.
