Liverpool have announced the signing of Javi Manquillo on a two-year loan from the La Liga champions Atletico Madrid with an option to a permanent move at the end of this season.
The 20-year-old right-back has been in rumours to be linked with a move to Anfield for some time but the Merseyside outfit have finally confirmed their seventh signing of the summer as they look to rebuild a squad ahead of competing in the Champions League next season.

The Spaniard, who has represented his nation at youth levels – was part of the European Under 19 championship in 2012. He has made 6 La Liga appearances for the club.
