Everton have reportedly set their sights on a deal for Atletico Madrid defender Renan Lodi.
The Toffees are rumoured to be considering a move for the Brazil international in the upcoming summer transfer window, according to Fichajes.
Lodi, who plays as a left-back for Nottingham Forest, on loan from La Liga club Atlético Madrid, is believed to be of interest to the Everton, and a potential move could be pursued if they avoid relegation from the Premier League.
The 24-year-old made a surprise loan move to Nottingham Forest last summer, opting to join Steve Cooper’s team despite interest from several other high-profile clubs, causing raised eyebrows among many suitors.
He may have come to the realisation that he is not part of Diego Simeone’s plans and may be seeking regular playing time.
However, the Spanish club reportedly views him as a sellable asset in the upcoming transfer window, aiming to generate funds through player sales. Atletico may demand a fee of at least €22 million.
