Fiorentina midfielder Juan Cuadrado has joined the Premier League club Chelsea on a four-and-a-half year deal, the Blues confirmed the transfer on Monday evening.

The Colombia international has scored one goal and provided four assists during 2014 World Cup campaign in Brazil, is delighted to complete a move to the west London club under Jose Mourinho’s guidance.
The South American said, “I am very happy and thankful for this opportunity I’ve been given.
“This is a great club and honestly it is like a dream to join the Chelsea family and to know that the manager believes in me. I’m happy.”
The 26-year-old was reported to have his medical last Friday, but it wasn’t complete as Chelsea negotiated a fee for Andre Schurrle with the Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg.
Cuadrado has scored 20 goals in 85 Serie A appearances for Fiorentina since he joined the club in 2012.
