Chelsea have reportedly set their sights on a deal for Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly, according to reporter Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues head coach Thomas Tuchel is looking to add more creativity in the defence of the park ahead of next season, as the German tactician looks to a Premier League title challenge under the club’s new owners.
Romano says that Jules Kounde, Nathan Ake, Matthijs de Ligt and Raphinha are also said to be on Chelsea’s radar.

Been told there are conversations also on Koulibaly alongside de Ligt, Aké, Koundé. Focus on Raphinha, and then centre backs.

Koulibaly, 31, is one of a number of defenders that the west Londoners are keeping tabs on this summer as they consider adding to their squad.
The Senegal international has been linked with a move to Chelsea in the past and has firmly established himself as one of Partenopei’s key players.
Koulibaly has contributed three goals and three assists in 27 Serie A appearances for the Italian club last season.
