Chelsea are reportedly gearing up for a summer move for Bayern Munich centre-back Niklas Sule.
The Blues are prepared to reinforce their central defence and newly appointed manager Thomas Tuchel is keen on bringing a new recruit to Stamford Bridge.
Bayern Munich’s David Alaba has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea, but the Austrian has been tipped to join Real Madrid for free when his contract expires in June.
According to SportBild via Metro, Chelsea have identified Sule as the potential alternative to Alaba.
There are suggestions that Sule could leave with the German champions following the arrival of Dayot Upamecano.
Sule’s current deal expires in June 2022 and reports suggest that he could be available for somewhere around in the region of £25m this summer.
