Bayern Munich have reportedly set their sights on a deal for Chelsea attacking midfielder Kai Havertz.
The Germany international made 150 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen between 2016 and 2020, contributing 46 goals and 31 assists, before making the move to the West London outfit in a big-money deal.
The 23-year-old has made 93 appearances for the Blues in all competitions, contributing 23 goals and 14 assists, although he has largely struggled for his form.
According to Sport1, the Bavarians are long-term admirers of the German playmaker and are currently keeping an eye on his situation at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have made five signings in this summer transfer window, bringing in Gabriel Slonina, Carney Chukwuemeka, Kalidou Koulibaly, Raheem Sterling and Marc Cucurella.
However, the Premier League giants are still in the market for a new forward, with Romelu Lukaku being allowed to return on loan for the 2022-23 campaign.
