Arsenal have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Aston Villa midfielder Douglas in the summer transfer window.
Since joining the Midlands club from Manchester City in 2019, the 22-year-old Brazilian has established himself as a key man at Villa Park, with 41 appearances this season.
However, the midfielder’s stand-out performances has led to interest from his former club Manchester City.
The former Premier League champions wanted Luiz to remain at the Etihad Stadium in the summer of 2019, but due to work permit snag, they opted to sell him to Villa.
