Ukraine’s Kiev will host the Champions League 2018 final

UEFA have announced that the 2018 Champions League final will be hosted at the Olympic Stadium in Ukraine’s Kiev on May 26.

It will be the first time ever that Ukraine host a Champions League final in the football history. The showpiece will be held in the host’s capital one month before Russia host the FIFA World Cup 2018.

The confirmation comes after a day when Slovenian Aleksander Ceferin was elected the new UEFA president.

This year’s UEFA Champions League final will be played at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
