According to Il Bianconero, Juventus teenager Francesco Cassata is being watched closely with Liverpool are reportedly considering a summer bid upto £10m to secure the teenager.
The Merseyside outfit had reportedly lodged a bid of around €10 million for the 19-year-old midfielder back in January but were rebuffed by the Serie A champions, who see the Italian international as a key player for the future.
However, Il Bianconero claim, the Reds will continue to scout Ascoli’s Francesco Cassata with a view to signing him at the end of the season.
He joined the Old Lady after beginning his career with Empoli in February in a deal reportedly worth €1.5m. Later he was loaned out to Serie B outfit Ascoli in order to allow him to progress.
Cassata is regarded as one of the most promising talents under 20 years of age and it seems unlikely that the Italian champions will allow him to leave permanently.
