Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger reportedly held talks with the transfer pursuit of Monaco midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, according to the Daily Express.
The report has suggested that Ligue 1 outfit are demanding an initial fee of £22m for the 22-year-old Frenchman, with extra bonuses to be paid based on his performances, and Wenger is now keen to secure his services in a pursuit of a solid defensive midfielder at the Emirates.
Meanwhile the Italians clubs such as Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan have also been linked withMonaco midfielder, but the London club seems to be favourites to sign Kondogbia this summer.
