Liverpool defender Daniel Agger is considering to leave the club before the start of the season, according to reports from Liverpool Echo.
The Reds are said to be heavily linked with a move to sign Southampton defender Dejan Lovren this summer, as the Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is a huge admirer of his talents, who is desperately looking to bolster his centre of defence for ahead of next season.
If Lovren arrives to the Merseyside club then Agger’s future at the club is in doubt, as the 29-year-old centre-back faces the less football next season.
The Denmark international has managed only 18 Premier League games last term, and will return to Melwood on Monday to begin pre-season.
The reports have suggested Agger would consider a switch away from Anfield this summer if the Reds receive an offer somewhere in the region of £12 million.
Liverpool have already completed three-summer acquisition with the likes of Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana and Emre Can.
