Barcelona starlet Transfer: The London rivals set to lock horns

The Premier League duo Chelsea and Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the wonderkid from Barcelona academy Abel Ruiz.

Ruiz, 16, is regarded as “one of the hottest prospects” in the Blaugrana’s academy having joined them from Valencia in 2015.

The report claims, the Blues are hoping to bring the teenager to Stamford Bridge this summer and they’ve already approached to his family.

However, the Gunners have also stepped up their interest in to talks with the Spaniard, but the La Liga champions are set to offer him a professional contract to keep him away from the English clubs.

According to the Spanish publication Sport, the Catalan giants have already rejected a bid from Manchester City, which means the player is not far sale.
